Welcome to the wonderful world of tallow!

What is Tallow?
Tallow is rendered beef fat. It is a clean, high quality cooking fat that can be used in lieu of vegetable and other seed oils. With a high smoke point, tallow is excellent for frying and searing.
It can then be further transformed into a skin salve.
Tallow balm is an excellent moisturizer with anti-inflammatory properties.
Rich in vitamins, it can aid in healing dry skin and restoring the skin barrier.
I discovered tallow with my own dry skin difficulties and haven’t looked back.
How to use?
Always spot test on a small area of skin prior to using on a larger area.
A little goes a long way. It is best absorbed on skin when still damp after a bath or shower.
For the face, a pea sized amount will do. If your skin feels greasy, you have used too much.
How to store?
Store in a cool, dark & dry place.
Do not expose to moisture or direct sunlight, there are no preservatives and mold can grow.
Shelf life can be from 6 months to a year if stored properly.
